In 2019, when I began Seeds of Fire, it was not yet a leap year. In 2020, under duress and with an extra day of the Earth spinning on its axis, it became clear that—for this work to ring true—Seeds of Fire would have to become two books in one.
Or, more accurately, it became one book in two voices.
In this spirit, the excerpt from Lucretius' De Rerum Natura (transcribed with grey thread) came to be joined by riffs on William Blake's The Tyger.
