LAS SUSTANCIAS series, 2024 – ongoing
The material basis of these works is paper hand made with the fibers of the Oaxacan pochote tree and shards of mica of varying sizes. Each individual work may also include metal leaf, graphite, colored pencil and / or other substances.
The Text and its Substances (in Spanish: El texto y sus sustancia) is an ongoing series
that alludes to forms of asemic writing.
